SHOPART ARTSHOP FESTIVAL IN GUNEHAR, HIMACHAL PRADESH

استقال الخيارات الثنائية وظيفتي Five comrades of TCBG travelled to Dhauladhar-clad Gunehar village in the Kangra Valley of Himachal Pradesh in May-June 2016 to become a part of a unique art festival - ShopArt ArtShop Festival. Every three years, some of India's finest artists and renowned international artists take part in this month-long festival and turn the streets, houses and shops of Gunehar into an art gallery of sorts.

It was from TCBG I knew of SA AS - art like I hadn't seen before, freed from the bind of gallery walls and habitat enclosures. A liberating experience it was not just for art but for me too. What I wrote about it on my blog from the day spent there was one of my most inspired as well as gratifying works. The fabulous people I befriended was a bonus.
